Our Favourite Look From The Academy Awards 2016
The red carpet has been rolled out and the Oscar 2016 looks are rolling in. We're big fans of getting our glow on, and we couldn't resist sharing our favourite look with you – the green beauty way of course!
Canadian actress Rachel McAdams looked stunning in her deep emerald gown, slicked back updo, and stretched diamond earrings. Her subdued neutral look and natural makeup, with striking lower emerald lashes is one we want to copy.
Shop our green beauty finds to get Rachel's pretty, neutral look:
1/ Nudus 27 Kisses
Certified organic lipstick in a neutral shade swiped on, then patted off gently (with a tissue) makes for a subtly defined lip that won't contrast or compete with eyes taking centre stage.
2/ Kjaer Weis Bronzer
Softly and smoothly blend a touch of organic, moisture-rich, sun-kissed bronze to forehead, nose and cheeks for a natural glow. No one needs to know you're faking – it'll be our secret.
3/ Kjaer Weis Eye Shadow in Grace
With a fluffy shadow brush, wash a neutral eye shadow across the eyelid from lash line to crease.
4/ Kjaer Weis Green Depth Eye Shadow
With a pinky finger, or fine smudge brush, line lower lashes with a natural emerald powder shadow, being careful to keep it close to the lash line.
5/ Hynt Nocturne Mascara
Define upper lashline with a double layer of multi-tasking mascara. Apply one layer, combing through carefully. Wait until nearly dry then apply a second layer.
6/ Hynt Eye Brow Definers
Great brows frame the face, and a cream to powder is your best bet for a natural-looking brow line. Use an angled brush and comb through as you slowly add colour.
7/ AILA's I'm Naked I'm Naked nails
Neutral, yet polished and pretty, a slick shine of a soft cream makes for a light touch so your glowing skin and smile take centre stage.
There you go, a pretty, neutral green beauty look from the 2016 Oscars that you can replicate this spring!
